Job DescriptionEnlighted Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on software architect to build a world class scalable energy management platform. In this role, you will be a technical leader in a software group that is split across our offices in US and India.
Responsibilities:
Get detailed business and technical requirements from customers and product management.
Drive the choice of data storage technologies
Help design both back-end and front-end infrastructures
Implement key portions of the system.
Analyze performance and scalability.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance.
Deal with issues at customer installations, advice customers on best practices
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
5+ years of industry experience
Experience in architecting and developing software with a strong focus on performance and scalability
Experience with delivering web applications and services using JavaScript/HTML/Flex
In depth knowledge of technical components of SaaS operations like servers, databases and operating systems
Experience with designing and optimizing databases
Strong analytical and conceptualization skills
Out of box thinking. Our problems can be solved by changes to hardware, software or documentation ? you should be able to choose prudently
Passionate about working in a startup environment
Excellent team player with great verbal and written communication skills
BS, MS or PhD. in Computer Science or related fields.
Plus:
Knowledge of Wireless / ZigBee architecture
Understanding of energy management systems
Experience with software license management
Experience with software activation and key management
