Rectorseal, a global specialty chemical manufacturing company located in Houston, TX, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Architectural and Engineering Sales Manager in the Construction Division. Responsibilities will include successfully marketing the company's specialty Firestop product line to Architects, Engineers, Building Owners, Contractors and Building Officials.Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with influential members of national architecture and engineering firms.
Obtain specifications for RectorSeal products with architects, engineers, property owners and contractors.
Track large construction projects and ensure RectorSeal products are specified.
Provide educational presentations to construction industry designers, contractors and building officials.
Work in conjunction with sales force to connect design specification to sales.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience selling specialty architectural products to the architectural design and specification community.
Ability to reach and exceed forecasted goals.
Minimum 2-5 years architectural sales experience.
Knowledge of specification writing, and specification based sales.
College degree.
Strong computer skills, with MS PowerPoint expertise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10-12 nights travel per month.
Ability to work within a team environment.
