Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization will serve nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community?s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems.
We currently have an attractive opportunity for an Area Manager- Mobile MR, Midwest and South Central US.
The Area Manager, under administrative direction, will manage all operations of assigned geographic area and may perform sales and marketing duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hire, train and supervise operations within geographic area, and assist managers in same functions for center and unit-based employees.
Assist Executive Director of Sales, Regional Director and Senior Vice President to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
Assist sales, marketing, and fleet personnel (if applicable) to meet center?s revenue goals.
Oversee schedules for construction and equipment installation for new sites, coordinating personnel and marketing activities for start up of new facilities and fleet operations, assist operation managers as needed with upgrades and building expansions.
Maintain effective working relations with referring physicians, patients, hospital administrators, radiologists and payors associated with fixed and mobile operations within geographic area.
Investigate and resolve questions and concerns of internal and external customers that are beyond the scope of fixed site and mobile-based managers.
Oversee development of annual budgets and/or pro formas designed to effectively control expenditures and meet revenue and profit goals for geographic area, based on historical data and market trends.
Review and approve expenditures, travel and expense reports, billing information, payroll timesheets and monthly financial statements of assigned locations to ensure adherence to company guidelines and budgets.
Ensure all records are completed and submitted in a timely and accurate manner, performing quality assurance audits as needed.
Ensure compliance of OSHA, JCAHO, ACR standards and all other governmental and licensing agency regulations.
Assist in development and ensure compliance of company management programs and other policies and procedures.
Monitor customer satisfaction for all accounts through quality assurance programs and patient satisfaction surveys.
Perform sales and marketing duties, as outlined in appropriate job description, if applicable.
Comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, the Company?s policies and procedures, and The InSight Integrity Program
Perform other projects/tasks, as requested by the Company.

Understand and follow specifications and instructions.
Maintain work records and compile operating, budget and activity reports.
Maintain the confidentiality of personnel and payroll data.
Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff, management, vendors, contractors, health care representatives, governmental regulators and external customers.
Scan, verify, copy, fax and distribute documents and messages.
Maintain patient privacy and the confidentiality of patient records.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of three year?s prior supervisory experience in radiology services.
ARRT Certification in Radiology and MRI A
A Degree in business or related health care field.
Bachelor? degree in related field preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS:
ARRT Certification in Radiology and MRI or CNMT
Venipuncture Certification (if applicable)
May be required to drive long distances to mobile locations.
