Area Manager - North Carolina (Charlotte) Redfin
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As a Redfin Area Manager you're a player-coach; responsible for building a world-class real estate team, while keeping your skills sharp by delighting your own clients as well. Your mission is to deliver on Redfin's promise to change the real estate game in the consumer's favor by combining customer service and technology. You'll also be responsible for managing Redfin's local network of partner agents from nearby brokerages, that we refer business to in neighborhoods we don't serve directly (or when we're just too busy!).
This isn't like any other real-estate job. There's no door-knocking, no cold-calling, and no sales pressure. We've built an industry leading website, so we deliver the clients, and then we pay you to put the clients' interests first. If you're successful, you'll grow Redfin's mindshare and marketshare, with a career path to more senior management.

What You'll Do:
Build and manage a world-class team: you'll need to find other top-shelf agents, coordinators & field agents and mold them into a cohesive unit to deliver the best customer service in the business. Your focus is on the total customer experience and developing your teammates' careers.
Delight clients: you'll be working with up to 40 clients actively looking for homes and you're there to help them succeed and have a good time while they're at it.
Teach: you'll help first timers understand pricing and the process in home-buying classes, mentor your team members, and dish to the media to get Redfin's name out there.
Ethical: you live by our values and do the right thing ? always
Experienced: you're a licensed broker with 50 deals under your belt, and 10 in the last 12 months
Smart: 4-yr college degree strongly preferred; you can communicate clearly and write well
History of success: A minimum of two years experience leading a team that wows its customers in real-estate or another service-oriented industry
