Steelwedge Software is currently looking for Area Sales Directors to join a fun & focused group of driven entrepreneurs who already figured it out that starting on the ground floor can be beneficial for their pocket book (and ego)! If you're a self motivated hunter who thrives in an fast paced environment, who has a background in S&OP and/or IBP, and Supply Chain Management, then let's talk!
As a member of the small, close- knit sales team, your efforts will be noticed. You will be responsible for the sales to new prospects of Steelwedge within a predefined and allocated geographic territory. The ideal candidate will be a strong sales leader with a demonstrated track record of selling cloud-based enterprise software or software as a service to the C-level clients. Understanding of Supply Chain Management is a highly beneficial asset.
What you will be doing:
Selling Steelwedge Software to new prospects
Prospect and drive campaigns within territory
Find, develop and qualify sales opportunities
Develop and nurture local partnerships and national partnerships
Consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Provide accurate forecasting/pipeline information to management
Effectively interface with sales/inside sales/sales consulting/marketing/services and development to drive client requirements and a high level of customer satisfaction
What we would like to see:
6-10 years of enterprise software or software as a service direct sales experience
Consistently exceeded quarterly and annual quota assignments
Strong business acumen and a strong understanding of business applications and processes
Self-starter, excellent time-management skills, strong verbal phone and presentation skills
Experience in developing new business through a combination of territory planning, prospecting and direct selling
Experience in negotiating agreements, creating territory/opportunity strategy plans, and deploying/allocating appropriate resources to an opportunity
Experience in Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Chain Planning or reporting/analytics/business intelligence tools is preferred.
Bachelor?s Business Degree or equivalent experience required, MBA a plus
