We are currently seeking an Art Director to lead and execute visual design initiatives for some of our newest and most innovative projects. The Art Director will be responsible for the visual design process at all stages of engagement, including scoping projects accurately and efficiently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Art Director will help implement industry best practices and be a part of a team that shapes usability and user experience by participating in the entire design lifecycle from concept, wireframing, prototyping, developing guidelines and standards, to providing guidance on how best to implement his/her designs into functional web apps/forms. The Art Director will also work closely with multiple development teams to provide best-in-class front end design, user interface innovations, and development support for web-based programs, websites and portals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional interactive work and an eye for bold, clean designs
• 5+ years of interactive experience in an Art Director role or similar
• Experience with software design a strong plus

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Driven to define the look and feel of large, industry-leading sites with a clear understanding of intuitive site functionality, user interfaces and navigation
• Detail oriented, with the ability to execute projects accurately and quickly

PREFFERED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Solid ability to work effectively under pressure
• Able to meet tight deadlines with a willingness to work independently
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with clients and internal teams
• A great attitude with an emphasis on excellence, integrity, team spirit and caring
