The Responsys creative team provides digital marketing strategy and production services ? consulting, design, copywriting, coding and testing ? for leading brands in apparel, home furnishings, technology, travel and beyond. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, the Art Director works with account managers and leads the concept development and execution of creative deliverables for Responsys clients. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person is responsible for the successful translation of concepts into visual expressions. They oversee numerous creative deliverables and control quality for multiple clients in a busy environment. They stay abreast of technology and contribute to industry developments and advancements, securing both their own and Responsys? positions as best-in-class.
Mentor and lead Designers, Copywriters and Developers to ensure delivery of client projects from concept to execution
Develop cross-channel marketing campaign concepts
Find effective methods for blending data-driven information with storytelling to craft campaigns with impact
Apply critical thinking skills to large, complex account objectives to provide elegant and simple solutions
Reach for innovative creative solutions to emerging channels such as mobile, social and display
Participate and represent the creative team in new business opportunities
Reports to Creative Director
Portfolio of interactive work in the digital direct channels (email, mobile, social, web and display)
Visual design background
Excellent communicator with ability to collaborate with other designers, copywriters, developers and technology partners
Creative optimization methodologies including A/B testing and metric driven recommendations
5+ years of interactive design and user interface experience
Strong interest in emerging mobile marketing opportunities
Persuasive presentation skills
Ability to collaborate productively with account and technical services teams
Agency background a plus
Mastery of the Adobe Suite, functional understanding of traditional HTML, HTML5 & CSS as well as a good knowledge or PowerPoint.
