DeNA San Francisco is looking for a world-class Art Outsourcing Manager to liaison between DeNA SF and its outside art contractors. DeNA is the world's leading mobile entertainment company, with top-grossing games on both Android and iOS. San Francisco is at the forefront of DeNA's global game development; we want someone here to help us find and manage outside art asset creation.DeNA SF is searching for an Art Outsourcing Manager to liaison between DeNA SF and its outside art contractors. This role will work with the Art Director and Studio Operations to meet our outsourcing needs. He or she will manage the relationships with vendors including contract negotiation, art pipeline, art feedback to vendors, and signoff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage relationships with external vendors.
Source new vendors to match the requirements of our game teams.
Work closely with our Director of Ops and Art Directors to deliver quality assets on time.
Work with the project teams to establish and implement outsource-management procedures and pipelines.
Work with the Director of Operations and DeNA legal to negotiate contract terms and best rates
Ensure that assets are delivered on time and to quality
Act as the primary contact point for communication and coordination with art outsource-houses
Maintain quality standards with our vendors through regular check-ins and art reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
Producer or project manager experience with a strong art background
Senior production, project management, or art management experience on a minimum of two completed game projects
Strong understanding of video games and the art-creation process
Ability to evaluate and critique incoming art assets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience working with distributed teams a plus
