ASIC Design and Verification Engineers
(Junior thru Principal Engineer positions)
Immedia Semiconductor is looking for exceptionally bright and entrepreneurial-minded ASIC Engineers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the engineering team you will work on the architecture, design, development, and implementation of a state-of-the-art video processor and codecs for next generation delivery of high definition video content.
Conduct all phases of verification to include simulations, test bench development, and verification documentation.
Define and implement systems/setups for prototype verification.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong background with design, simulation, and synthesis.
Solid Verilog/VHDL coding, C/C++ and Perl scripting experience is required.
Previous experience with successful tapeouts is a must.
Experienced in creating test plans, writing test cases and debugging logic.
Firm understanding of design for verification methodologies.
Be skilled in the use of standard test equipment ? e.g. Scopes, Logic Analyzers, etc
Knowledge of video technology is preferred but not essential
Education:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering is required.
