Our client, located in Washington, DC is looking for Mid/Senior Microsoft .Net developers who have strong web- based background and who also are strong in C#/.Net application development and implementation. The environment is based on an Extreme/Agile programming methodology employing a pair programming model -- continually collaborating on the same design, algorithm, code or test. It is a test driven development (TDD) environment in which developers write a test, develop code to satisfy the test and ensure that all previous tests are in a passing state after integration of the new code.
A minimum of 5-7 years' experience with C#, Windows and Web applications, design patterns, unit testing environments, and Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming.
Developer knowledge of MS SQL server and stored procedures.
Experience and expertise in ASP.NET Webforms or ASP.NET MVC, Inversion of Control / Dependency Injection, Mocking, Unit Testing, Unit of work, and other modern patterns, Linq, ORM tools, i.e. NHibernate.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to pass a background investigation.
