As the Assistant Corporate Controller, you will help us manage our increasingly complex global accounting functions.
In this position, you?ll be responsible for maintaining and closing the corporate consolidated books and delivering quarterly consolidated financial statements and SEC reports which are in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SEC regulations; proposing and implementing continuous improvement in accounting and reporting policies and systems; coordinating successful completion of external financial audits; oversight and assistance with the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process; coordinating/ensuring corporate-wide accounting policies are in compliance with GAAP; and supporting the expansion of our global accounting function. This role will also have a strong focus on continuing to streamline the Company?s revenue recognition process. You will be expected to update, maintain and train on revenue recognition policies, and develop strong business partnerships.

Responsibilities
Oversee monthly and quarterly close process
Manage the SEC reporting process
Responsible for oversight of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
Manage and assist in monthly close for revenue, revenue reporting, reconciliations and analysis
Contract review to ensure compliance with ASC 605 including multiple-element arrangements and software revenue recognition
Provide consultation to business unit managers during sales cycles on deal structuring in order to comply with revenue recognition guidelines
Provide revenue recognition policy training to all levels of management within the Company
Oversee preparation of VSOE analyses for the Company?s product lines
Assist in revenue forecast cycle to ensure deferred revenue is properly considered
Responsible for managing and recording hedging activities and monitoring compliance with related accounting standards
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA a plus
8+ years of public/private accounting experience
A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience
Revenue recognition experience required; software revenue recognition highly desirable
CPA strongly preferred
Experience in software industry preferred
Big 4 experience highly desirable
Experience with reviewing and analyzing customer contracts and related documentation
Experience with hedging and foreign currency accounting a plus
SAP experience a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
