Assistant Manager, Credentialing CHG Healthcare Services

This position is responsible for directly overseeing the credentialing process function and the Credentialing Team. Adheres to company mission and values.
? Assists the credentialing manager in all aspects of the provider credentialing and assignment processes to ensure compliance of company credentialing standards.
? Directly responsible for credentialing process function.
? Conducts regularly scheduled one on one meetings with Direct Reports, designed to enhance awareness, support, growth and accountability.
? Participates in hiring, training, development and retention of the credentialing team.
? Assists the Credentialing Manager with other duties as assigned.
? Contributes to ongoing process improvements.
? Participates in weekly meetings with team.
? Contributes to a positive culture.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills.
? Strong organizational skills.
? Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
? Accurately type 35 wpm.
? Experience with MS Word, Excel and/or database applications.
? Works independently with little supervision.
? Excellent teamwork skills.
Experience & Education:
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Minimum of one-year quality improvement and/or health care related risk management/claims management experience.
? Familiarity with the medical field and/or medical terminology
? Ability to lead, coach and mentor team members
? Efficiently manage large amounts of information and documentation.
? Integrate individual efforts for team objectives and goals.
? Persuade, influence and educate co-workers, health care providers and clients in a positive, professional manner.
? Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
? Follow direction of Department Director, Department Manager and Senior Management personnel.
? Excellent time management skills focusing on urgent deadlines
