Our ideal Assistant Manager, Outbound Sales has solid experience leading teams of 20+ outbound sales specialists. Duties will include training, motivating, coaching, and performance management to ensure sales performance goals are achieved.
What you?ll do:
In conjunction with the Manager, develop and lead an effective Outbound Sales team to achieve clearly defined, realistic sales goals
Provide motivation, coaching and feedback on employee performance that ensures consistency and a high level of achievement and accomplishment of individual and team sales goals
Train employees on products, systems, and sales techniques
Analyze and actively manage performance metrics, providing feedback and coaching
Provide support to Sales Specialists with problem solving and resolution
Point of contact for escalated calls
Provide prompt, courteous, professional support to our internal and external customers
Provide feedback that continually builds and expands both individual and team performance
Monitor and manage call volume and availability ensuring service levels are achieved
Handle employee issues and relay any concerns to the Outbound Sales Manager
Assist with an interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals
Ensure adherence to all policies and guidelines
Identify potential risks and/or opportunities for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
BS or BA or equivalent experience preferred
4+ years sales experience in a high volume call center, legal or service environment
2+ years supervisory experience with strong motivational and leadership abilities
Ability to achieve sales quotas
Ability to quickly learn new and complete concepts
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to identify, initiate and embrace change to support continuous improvement
Must have flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends and holidays
Prior legal training or legal coursework (preferred)
Previous work in a legal environment as a paralegal, law school, etc. (preferred)
Experience processing complex documents or documentation management such as loan application (preferred)
Proficient with MS Office Suite and the ability to rapidly navigate between applications and systems; knowledge of call center computer software.
