WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO
As an Assistant Product Manager, you will work directly with Product Managers and the Vice President of Consumer Products to support a number of products within the online games and expressions portfolio, including promoting products through community building and social media; and supporting the development of product features and new product innovation. This position will have a strong product development and social media / editorial component.
POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Games & Expressions Product Managers in day-to-day management of priority products, including defining product requirements, tracking online product metrics and managing reports, administering A/B tests and supporting marketing initiatives
Contribute in development of product plans and identify future growth opportunities via metrics analysis and market research
Develop and execute social media campaigns and community building activities (e.g., newsletters, email campaigns) to promote products and build a community / audience.
Support marketing/product copy and editorial-related tasks
Work extensively with other departments to manage resources, timelines, and conflicts, acting as a conduit to their products fostering ideas & fueling growth across a multi-divisional team (both direct and indirect reports)
2+ years of prior Product Management / Design or Social Media Marketing / Editorial-related experience (will consider recent college graduates with a strong working knowledge of social media channels)
Experience developing or promoting Internet products
Strong UI/UX experience highly desirable
Familiarity with business issues, or the ability to learn
Strong organizational and analytical skills ? previous experience with A/B testing a plus
Excellent communication and writing skills a must (PLEASE PROVIDE SAMPLE ? can be blog postings or other social media channels)
BA/BS, preferably from a technical or business related field
