Centerre is searching for an Assistant Vice President of Clinical Operations (AVPCO) which assists in the management and oversight for the clinical operations as well as the quality and regulatory requirements of the company?s rehabilitation hospitals. AVPCO directs the successful development, growth and implementation of quality clinical programs and achievement of operational goals. Manages and coordinates the clinical activities in support of policies, goals and objectives established for the company including:
Assists in creating and maintaining proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the company and to ensure financial strength, clinical excellence and operating efficiency.
Able to open, build and develop new hospitals and take through the accreditation process.
Assures compliance to regulatory and licensure standards and all other accrediting agencies.
Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow between the hospitals specifically the clinical leadership of the company?s hospitals and units.
Foster an environment of collaboration and communication between corporate and hospital teams to ensure timely implementation of new strategies and coordinate implementation of corrective strategies to resolve problems or situations that may arise. Problem-solve issues that are barriers to expected operational results.
Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state and federal regulations, Joint Commission (JC) standards and laws governing healthcare operations.
Teaming with the organization?s management, develop and prepare annual business plans and budgets to ensure business goals (revenue, quality) are achieved.
Participate as a member of the management team in developing the overall strategic plans necessary for short- and long-term success. Assess operating business risks and opportunities and identify strategies to mitigate or capitalize as appropriate.
Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all clinical and operational processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the clinical outcomes of the company. EOE.
Requirements
The AVPCO position requires the following combination of skills and experience:
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent in healthcare administration or related field
Registered Nurse with minimum of 5 years acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience
Extensive healthcare management experience, inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience highly preferred
Med-Surg hospitals and systems (for profit and non-profit) knowledge desired
Multi-facility experience required
Moderate to High travel required
Basic computer knowledge including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
