Position Summary
Provide support in the areas of recruitment and staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, HRIS, training, reward and recognition, EEO, performance management, policies and procedures
Key Duties / Responsibilities
-Talent Acquisition: obtaining specific requirements, coordinating all advertising, recruiting and screening of applicants, utilizing and maintaining recruiting system, working with hiring manager on offer letters and starting salaries, conducting and maintaining the onboarding and orientation process. Managing contractor process in accordance with contractor policy; creating and updating SOW and contracts. Facilitate and maintain exit interviews. 40%
-HRIS, HR Policy and Processes: Maintains HRIS system records and compiles reports from data base. Assists in evaluation of reports, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Administers various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Maintains HR policy and procedures for State and Federal compliance. Coordinate with payroll to review wage type reports on biweekly basis. 25%
-Benefit Administration: Administers health and welfare plans. Processes required documentation to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions. Counsels employees and potential employees/applicants on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed decisions. Functions as liaison with company benefit SME's to resolve employee concerns related to health and welfare plans. Assist HR Generalist in VISA Administration. 25%
-Performance Management: Support Supervisors/Managers on all Performance Management, Employee Relations, Disciplinary, Compensation and Benefits issues, consulting with HR manager and Corporate resources as needed/appropriate. 5%
-Performs other related duties as required and assigned 5%
Education & Knowledge Required
Bachelor's Degree or comparable Human Resources experience preferred
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
Previous HR experience desired. Facilitation and training delivery skills desired. Excellent PC skills, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access required.
Communication & Contacts Required
With prior coaching, communicates with Corporate HR and external customers/vendors.
Decision Making
Assists in the data gathering so that decisions in all areas of H.R. Management can be made to include: Personnel development, Hiring/firing, benefits, compensation, training, budgetary, legal actions, and various other personnel decisions.
