Associate Applications Developer Tesla Motors

Tesla is currently seeking Applications Developer to join our team in Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Design, development and implementation of mission critical applications using the .NET Framework and SQL technologies.
• Write server-side code for web-based applications, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
• This position will involve in writing interfaces to achieve different systems integrations.
• This position will work closely with lead architect and software engineers.
• Build internal systems used by Tesla employees with your domain expertise.

Skills Requirements:

• Solid experience with the .NET platform.
• Solid experience with C# , VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and the Visual studio platform.
• Strong experience in XML Web Services, XML schemas, XSLT, SOAP.
• Experience with programming using Ruby on Rails, Javascript, PHP, Perl, Ruby, HTML, AJAX, UNIX/Linux.
• Java and open source technologies a plus.
• Solid experience in agile and waterfall development models.
• Solid experience in SDLC definition and practice.
• Incredible and continuous aspiration to be better and do better.
• Experience with enterprise source control and issue tracking systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Education Required:

• B.S. Computer Science or equivalent with no more than 5 years progressive experience in the industry.
• MCSD certification a plus
