We provide our Fortune 500 clients with detailed analysis of telecommunications vendor invoices that frequently self-fund out services through the reduction in a client?s telecom expenses.
Job Title: Associate Auditor
Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing support to auditing team with auditing projects
Interface with Auditors in support of one time audits, contract rate validations, client recommendations and Benchmarking
Work with Billing, Inventory, Claims, IT, Projects team and QC in performing client initiated services
Analyze and audit all types of telecommunication invoices (wireless & wireline) across multiple assist auditors with processing of level 1 tickets such as finance charges; thrifty billing; disconnected stations; ancillary charges
Assist auditors with wireless audit tickets
Assist auditors with researching non-English language documentation on the Internet to improve timeliness of analyses for International accounts
Follow-up on invoices to see if credits have posted and/or billing corrections have been implemented by carriers (portal based research). This would aid both the auditors and the client billing turnaround time for claims.
Assist Claims supervisor with the more time-consuming standard audit ticket maintenance such as closure of defunct or completed (non-billable) tickets and assistance in following up with research into tickets coming up from Operations (essentially pre-screening.)
Assist Claims supervisor with monthly audit ticket review reports (production of data, cleanup of data, follow up with CM?s during meeting, coding of audit ticket data) and regular client reports
Assist Claims supervisor with miscellaneous follow up on non-commissionable clients
Performs other duties as directed
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Microsoft Excel beginner to intermediate level
Background in Access and/or SQL a plus
Foreign language proficiency a plus
Familiarity with wireless a plus
Must be detail-oriented
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Comprehensive experience and thorough understanding of carrier billing and associated CSRs, tariffs, and contracts in order to reconcile billed Telecom services
Ability to understand both voice data and wireless networks with a good knowledge of various carrier services
Experience working with carriers and their processes for escalating requests in a vendor environment
Ability to validate related carrier inventory and a good knowledge of carrier portals and reports
Understanding of client hierarchy and escalation levels
General knowledge of business tools, operations and structures
Solid experience with Excel and Access
Outstanding follow-up and organizational skills
Extreme attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication, listening and interpersonal skills
Must be comfortable interacting with high-level client executives
Computer savvy with proficiency in Word, Excel and Access a plus
Emphasis on customer service and quality
Follows through on all commitments
Ability: Able to solve problems and make decisions with good reasoning ability. Actively looks for challenges and actively seeks resolution.
