Associate Business Analyst Health Market Science
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As a member of the Product Development Team, the Associate Business Analyst serves as the liaison between the business and development teams. The Associate Business Analyst supports the growth and health of Health Market Science?s product suite. This objective is achieved by gathering and documenting requirements for new products and features, investigating and resolving product variances and supporting releases.
Primary responsibilities will include:
New Products and Features
For new products and features, the Associate Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements and reviewing them with the various stakeholders to ensure validity and accuracy.
Facilitating the development of product prototypes, while recording technical documentation.
Managing communication to and from internal departments and development staff regarding project status and clarification of requests.
Preparing and presenting training materials to Client Services and Sales team.
Ongoing Operations Support
Partners with Data Quality, Software Development and Client Services to evaluate and resolve data quality variances. Assists with impact analysis and prioritizes defects for production releases.
Works with QA team to ensure proper testing strategy. develop requirements for reports needed to ensure products meet specifications and to ensure remediation plans are developed and implemented when products go out of specification.
Business analysis, data analysis experience
Experience in healthcare information businesses
Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Strong team player
BA/BS degree required (computer science or related field preferred)
1-3 years of business analysis experience inclusive of the following roles:
Systems and back-end design and documentation experience.
Business process improvement
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and see projects to completion.
Ability to multitask in a busy and changing work environment, and adjust to changing work priorities.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization.
Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision.
Proven performance in a team environment.
MS Office Suite, strong emphasis on MS Visio (wireframes and workflows), and ability to self-learn new applications and tools.
