StumbleUpon is looking for an associate business analyst to join our Analytics team. As an associate business analyst, you will be a key part of the team that supports all the business units across the company as they make important strategic decisions. You will perform reporting & analysis for various stakeholders from Business Development, to Sales & Marketing and the Product team. In addition, you will work closely with other members of the Analytics team to develop and implement processes to support the needs of an evolving business. An ideal candidate is a numbers-minded individual that can thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop performance metrics and reporting solutions
Support the organization with analysis and presentations that relate to broader strategic and operational issues
Partner with the other members of the Analytics team on big ticket analytics projects (like product launch performance analysis and quarterly reviews)
Work closely with the sales team to help improve sales operations process & increase understanding of inventory utilization
Assist the Controllership team with several end of month financial activities
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Economics, Math or technical field preferred with a strong academic record
1+ years of experience in an analytical role or sales operations role
Familiarity with Excel or other number crunching tools
Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and thrive under pressure
Passionate and knowledgeable about new and emerging internet-based media
Knowledge of SQL or experience with other DB applications would be a plus
