Overview:
The Associate Business System Analyst (Associate BSA) is an entry-level position.
This position is within the TOA Technologies Global Customer Care organization, which is responsible for providing post-production supports services. The Associate BSA will deliver completed tasks toward the effort of delivering our Vision of World Class Service delivery. The Associate BSA will be a key customer representative during our long-term customer/partner relationship.
Candidates must possess a technical background, highly motivated self-starter, customer-focused, effective communicator and be able to work quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision. Additionally, the Associate BSA will have outstanding critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Consideration will be given to applicants with knowledge and applied experience in the technical areas: XHTML, XML, SQL, Java, WSDL, Web services, and SOAP.
Responsibilities:
Associate BSAs will develop knowledge of the ETAdirect service and provide support in the handling of requests reported from TOA customers using ETAdirect services. Additionally, Associate BSAs will focus in concentrated areas to provide assistance with key team deliverables in one the following areas: data management, reporting and analysis, workflow processes, network protocols and connectivity, or communication device management.
Develops working knowledge of customers? operations to be able to provide consultative input in areas such as software requirements analysts, user acceptance testing, data analysis on key performance indicators/metrics,
Provides assistance to senior level staff members.
Education:
Bachelors or Master degree in technical related field: computer science or engineering. Business degree with emphasis in technology. Course work should provide the individual knowledge with the following: technology, statistical or financial modeling, data analysis and/or communication protocols.
Experience:
One-year work experience in a professional work environment and a recent degree mentioned above.
Characteristics and relevance:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Associate BSAs will need to be able to communicate effectively with internal/external customers with varying levels of responsibilities.
Must be proficient in common software tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Individual will perform tasks using above tools to build/document/analyze software requirements, reports and workflow processes.
Must be a problem-solver, with good analytical and conceptual reasoning skills. Individual will assist with customer requested support requests and development of new software changes/enhancements.
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. TOA?s continued growth will require associates to multiple tasks in varying degree of difficulty.
Must be able and willing to work in a team and matrix managed organization and take direction. Associate BSAs will assist other customer care and client operation team members.
