This is an opportunity for a talented college graduate to assist with customer implementations and conversions, present system application training and to facilitate functional use of systems to customers. In addition, provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of software applications and system equipment. Serves as customer contact on technical and service related problems, and diagnoses software and systems failures, using established procedures.
? Assist with the installation of software and upgrades including configuration of the applications and testing to confirm functionality.
? Assist in providing customer training by describing how the system and each of the applications work, how the set-up of applications can affect the performance of the system and demonstrate the functionality of the System.
? During conversion process provide support to customer, reservations, coaching staff, answering questions, resolving or reporting system issues and anticipating customer needs.
? Update knowledge of software by reading functional specifications, technical documentation and meeting with software development staff to learn further details on the operation of the software.
? Ensure all Corporate and Local policies are adhered to.
? Requires knowledge of the field of Software Implementation and basic knowledge of educational techniques.
? Functional knowledge of talent management software applications including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, compensation and communications solutions. Basic knowledge of the HRMS/HRIS functionality and general best practices.
? Basic knowledge of PCs, hardware, software, operating systems and database management systems.
? Requires oral communication and interpersonal skills to answer and respond to customer questions.
? Requires organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met.
? Requires presentation skills to present the functional application of the software to customers.
? Requires problem-solving skills to resolve varied problems. Requires decision-making skills to make procedural decisions.
? The ideal candidate for this job will be comfortable in customer facing environments, presentations to customers, with solid project management skills.
? The Consultant will gather requirements, consult, facilitate and configure the solutions to meet customer demands. Consultants work with Project Managers and Service Management teams to implement the solutions and address issues as needed. ? Requires ability to deliver on-time and on-target deliverables; as well as, assist in the creation of other implementation documentation, prior to transitioning to the support organization.
? Past experience in a customer-facing consultative position is desirable. Experience in a talent management disciplines is also valuable, including: recruiting and onboarding; performance management; succession management and development; compensation planning, including salary, incentive and stock; contingent workforce and vendor management; employee communications; workforce compliance and diversity initiatives.
? At least some intern or similar experience working in a project environment, documenting process, or a comparable deadline-driven work environment.
? Proven ability to apply logic, escalate issues with management, and basic project management skills is required.
? Detail-oriented person who places a high priority on customer satisfaction and project excellence.
? Demonstrated experience working in an environment with multiple tasks and strict deadlines.
? Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
