As a local Associate Curator, you hold the key that unlocks your city. Our members look to you to comb through hundreds of neighborhoods and countless local businesses and activities to bring the most compelling restaurants, spas, fitness classes, cultural events, artistic performances, and much, much more, to their inbox 2-3 times a week.
Our Associate Curator will be based in LA and work with Sales Representatives in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and Washington, DC. The Gilt City team will be tasked with entrepreneurial expectations, such as rapid expansion, providing a dynamic vision and offering the unexpected as they advance the Gilt lifestyle of making the world a more beautiful place.
Gilt City is looking for a dynamic Associate Curator who can work with teammates to identify ?on-brand,? key targets and deliver sales that reinforce our company mission to Love Your City More. This person will tap into a local network of services from restaurants to spas cultivating key relationships that reinforce building a life more beautiful for Gilt members. This person will own their own portion of business and work with their manager to strategize on ways to reach and exceed goals. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the luxury market with an established network of tastemakers and service providers. This person should have professional poise and presence when interfacing with the marketplace, have an inherent creative ability to identify unique coveted experiences, and have a passion for winning and the ability to execute quickly.
Drive sales and revenue on a continual basis by bringing in new accounts and maintaining accounts already won
Interface and communicate effectively with the Account Management team and leadership based in the New York headquarters
Execute against targets identified and agreed upon by management
Evangelize and inspire the marketplace in New York to work with Gilt Groupe
Represent Gilt City at trade and tastemaker events
Proven success as a leader in sales
1-3 years in the luxury services marketplace experience
1-3 years in working on local service offerings
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Expert in building and maintaining strategic partnerships
Proven track record in the luxury and tastemaker marketplace
Passion for fine food, wines, arts, culture and city life
