This role will provide support for and potentially lead execution efforts on various client engagements with a focus on achieving measurable results. Secondary responsibilities include supporting firm activity in new business, developing Intellectual Property, and other internal initiatives.
Develop and support client project plans
Facilitate client events which may include project scoping and discovery sessions, kaizen and BRM events.
Work on client project teams to analyze both their operational processes and financial metrics in order to identify project opportunities that positively impact the client?s financial performance
Work on the client project team to develop a roadmap to meet their needs and assist in executing the plan to achieve significant results
Mentor and coach others in the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools on assessments, operational analysis and implementation of lean and Six Sigma methods to drive operational improvements
Support the firm?s activity by assisting in developing new business opportunities and developing intellectual property.
Extensive travel to client locations; international travel possible
5-8 years of prior business experience required, 2-3 years of prior consulting experience at a tier 1 firm preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of hands on project experience in Six Sigma, Lean and/or DFSS area.
Experience facilitating Kaizen events preferred
1-2 years of prior operational experience in a large manufacturing or transactional corporation preferred.
Black Belt level certification and/or Lean equivalent preferred
BS/BA degree required; Masters preferred.
Comfortable with extensive travel
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), project management and interpersonal skills
