Associate Director, Retention & Loyalty (Marketing) Handybook
Handybook is the easiest way to find help with home services. We?ve built a website and a mobile app where users can instantly book a cleaner or handyman. We?re growing fast, we?re disrupting a huge industry, and we?re solving real problems for our customers?but we?ve still got a long way to go. We?re looking for great people to join our team and be part of our next step.
Specifically, we?re looking for an experienced marketer to join the Growth/Marketing team and be our retention, loyalty, and cross-sell lead. You?ll be one of the first and most important hires on the team, and be responsible for putting together and implementing a customer life-cycle strategy designed to retain customers, increase loyalty, and promote cross-sell for our range of home services. You?d be in charge of all e-mail marketing and have a direct report, be a critical part of our brand definition/development efforts, and have your hands in a number of acquisition efforts as well. In short, you would have an incredibly exciting, challenging job. You will be reporting to the VP of Marketing.
We?re a startup, so we?re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for tactical/ strategic marketing, retention and CRM, branding, and the ability to turn on a dime when necessary.
A quick overview of who we?re looking for:
4-7 years of marketing experience; ideally with a CRM, retention, and loyalty focus
Experience with email marketing required
Familiarity with online marketing a plus, as is startup experience and experience working in e-commerce previously
Excited to join a fast-paced, incredibly entrepreneurial startup
Passion for marketing, customer acquisition, and branding
Very comfortable with analytics and can take a data-driven approach to marketing
Can think big picture, but also know how to execute on a micro level
Self-starter, creative thinker and problem solver
Have a great sense of humor (we joke around a lot here)
Are super organized and have great campaign management skills, and are capable of juggling multiple campaigns with many moving parts
