Responsible for:
Selection and implementation of technology platforms
Success for this role would be measured primarily:
Identification and implementation of technologies to advance the goals of the organization
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide oversight, reporting and direction related to the implementation of technologies
2. Insure the needs of all Sagent?s functional areas are addressed
3. Provide direction and coordination of technology providers
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry, product development, manufacturing and approval process preferred
- Strong inventory planning and management experience
- Strong project management experience including demand/inventory planning, trend analysis, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and project planning
- Experience developing, cultivating and managing internal and external relationships with people at all levels of management
- Problem solving, data analysis and decision making skills ? Detail orientation, self directed, well organized
- Solid computer skills ? proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Able to see beyond the obvious to mitigate risk - assess trends and anticipate potential problems, needs and outcomes, facilitate decision making, problem resolution using strong negotiation skills
- Cross cultural competency ? experience working with global suppliers or working internationally in another country required Understanding of how to communicate with, negotiate with and manage people and projects in other countries required
- Able to work in a cross-functional, matrix team environment with a flexible team-oriented perspective
- Thrives in a rapidly changing, fast paced, entrepreneurial and growth oriented business culture
- Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
- Able to negotiate with partners to assure deliverables and expectations are met in a timely manner
- Ability to oversee multiple and competing projects in a fast-paced, changing team environment
Education and/or Experience:
- 10+ or more years of general management, global supply chain logistics, financial analysis, and sales operations planning
- Pharmaceutical or related industry experience ? Ideally with a broad career progression in the manufacturing, sales and distribution of pharmaceutical products
- Familiarity with GMP, regulatory affairs, logistics, QA, or pharmaceuticals manufacturing a plus
- Project Management certification a plus
- Ability to manage indirect relationships and projects successfully
- Strong interpersonal communication skills required ? verbal, written and presentation
- Willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed up to 5%
