Overview:
3E Company is hiring an Associate District Manager for the Northeastern region. We are seeking someone that is located in one of the following states: Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island or New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
Regularly contact new and existing customers; identify customer needs and establish requirements for potential sale of new services
Participate in pre-sale activities for new business opportunities
Perform internal activities for all new and upsells (legal agreement, create opportunity, submit startup sheet, etc.)
Document all customer-related activities in Sales Logix.
Generate proposals and contracts for renewals and upsell business.
Plan, schedule and conduct customer-related meetings, both internal and external
Initiate and conduct program/project review meetings to ensure timelines are met
Create opportunities and maintain accurate forecast in Sales Logix.
Managing initial implementation of new services and programs sold
Keeping current on changing regulations and industry trends
Develop and maintain business plan to meet and/or exceed budgeted objectives.
On a constant basis, when it is essential to sell or service potential clients or existing customers, this position is required to travel to complete the required tasks (approx. 50% or less, but could be more if required). The Associate District Manager is expected to independently plan these approved trips to maximize their strategic value. In addition, short term, temporary sales assignments and sales scorekeeping assignments will be given and must be completed as a job requirement.
Qualifications:
4-6 years field sales experience
Bachelors degree in EHS or Business-related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills
Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Office, SalesLogix or other CRM
Excellent time management and self management skills
Excellent customer management and sales cycle control skills
CHMM or knowledge of EHS regulations preferred
Travel is required (up to 75%)
Valid driver?s license and provide company with proof of valid auto insurance
Meet or exceed monthly new and upsell individual sales goal on a consistent basis
Maintain contract profitability and document analysis annually for each account
Assist the company in timely billing and collection
