Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, the Associate Graphics Designer position is a client side role, responsible for the development and implementation of a wide variety of print and web projects across different languages, related to marketing campaigns and web based graphics. (Speaking another language is not a requirement)
Responsible for applying corporate branding guidelines across web, print and animation design. You will be involved in all aspects of a project from concept through to final artwork. Projects will include: brochures, posters, microsite design and coding, email banners, online banner advertising, some video editing and custom items across multiple languages. This role would suit someone who is keen to develop their skills across the design spectrum in a global company.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Good typographic and conceptual skills and a creative team player
Solid graphic design skills including web page layout, email design, brochure design, Ad banner creation
Knowledge of cross-browser design and scripting
Proficient Macintosh and PC computer skills
Good knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Dreamweaver and HTML/CSS coding skills
Maintaining awareness of current design trends, best practices and developments within creative community
Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Must be goal oriented and be able to handle multiple projects at once with high attention to detail
Strong time management, organization and problem solving skills
Problem solving skills with the ability to research and provide various solutions
Flash and Video editing experience using After effects
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited, to, the following:
Implements non-complex graphic design and web projects
Creates graphics for company's marketing materials across print and web
Working with marketing managers and the support of the creative manager, taking branding templates, converting existing materials across EMEA languages to a high degree of accuracy
Infographics and video across all EMEA languages
Bespoke projects as assigned
