Associate, International User Operations Yelp
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Yelp.com is looking for a smart, savvy, native German speaker to join our User Operations team in sunny downtown San Francisco!
User Support team to help evaluate user-generated content in accordance with our Review Guidelines and Terms of Service. You must be organized, responsible and work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is research-oriented, internet savvy and has strong attention to detail.
Study the objectives, promotional policies, and needs of Yelp in order to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion and promote the company;
Work closely with clients in the international market to produce plans and modifications for Yelp?s website in order to better target users as the company continues to expand;
Identify trends and inefficiencies to enhance the support process and improve user experience;
Analyze user interaction with the product and communicate analysis to others within the department and the company;
Evaluate user-generated content (reviews, photos, etc.) in accordance with the company?s Content Guidelines and Terms of Service, and investigate reported abuse as needed;
Confer with production and support personnel to produce or coordinate production of advertisements and promotional giveaways;
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, customers and other potential partners in Germany, Austria, and France to develop partners for API developer programs;
Design and implement community-related content for new Yelp international communities in Germany, Austria, and France; and,
Proofread and edit Yelp?s weekly newsletters for Germany and Austria.
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor?s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Humanities, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and one (1) year of experience in the job offered, or as an Account Manager (Intern), Public Relations Intern, Public Relations, or a related occupation.
Experience with designing and implementing public relations/marketing campaigns. Cultural familiarity with Germany and its surrounding regions. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience.
