Overview:One of the most innovative and exciting companies in the retail industry is currently seeking a Inventory Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management. As a key member of the Supply Chain Team the Inventory Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of inventory management including:
Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory database.
Collect and evaluate data for inventory management.
Work closely with management to monitor, maintain and control inventory levels in warehouse
Analyze sales, sales trends and forecast future inventory requirements.
Analyze current, excess and obsolete inventories and coordinate distribution/resolution plans.
Manage and coordinate periodic physical inventory counts and insure inventory accuracy.
Identify process improvements and make sound recommendations.
Direct inventory management activities with warehouses
Monitor warehouse stock levels and execute the actions necessary to maintain stocks needed to support customer demand
Qualifications:
Prefer minimum 3 years? experience with a Bachelor?s degree in a related field.
Ability to operate in a fast moving, rapidly growing entrepreneurial environment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify problems and/or discrepancies in inventories and determine corrective actions.
Strong analytic, organization and problem solving skills.
Computer literacy including MS Office
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
