Associate Manager, Corporate Events K2M
Supports the Global Corporate Events division in implementing and executing tradeshows. Provides logistical and administrative support for multiple, complex tradeshows targeting surgeons. This person will often work independently in the field: managing programs. Travel up to 40% including weekends.
Working closely with the Manager, Global Tradeshows responsible for prioritizing and strategically implementing multiple tradeshows.
Assist with the managing, planning, and execution of all tradeshows
Attends all US tradeshows when applicable
Submits registration forms for all tradeshows
Responsible for and oversees all aspects of the exhibit booths design, set up, breakdown and handling all details necessary
Works closely with the Manager, Global Tradeshows on staying within budget requirements for tradeshows
Serves as principal liaison between contractors, organizers, and K2M employees, with regard to all facets of the logistical operations support of tradeshows
Works closely with the Global Corporate Events Specialist determining shipments and tracking of tradeshows
Works closely with the Global Corporate Events Specialist to ensure material for tradeshows is ordered, sent and received
Books all company travel needs for tradeshows
Demonstrates proficiency in project management, budget planning, and analysis of return on investment
Performs all other related duties as required by the Global Corporate Events Division
College Degree; and 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
Proficient in use of software and technology used to develop and to present educational programs.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports including budget projections and progress reports.
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
Knowledge of conference facilities, technology, and meeting equipment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectivelwith a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Knowledge and understanding of meeting and event planning principles, requirements, procedures, and available resources.
Show initiative, resourcefulness, creative thinking, and adaptability.
Ability to work well under stressful conditions with critical deadlines
Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects in fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
