The Associate Manager, Direct Marketing is a key member of the Marketing team, reporting to the Sr. Direct Marketing Manager. The Associate Manager will support the team to develop, execute and measure campaigns across various direct marketing channels (direct mail, catalog and inserts). The Associate Manager, Direct Marketing will be supporting the Tiny Prints brands (Tiny Prints, Wedding Paper Divas and Treat) and will reside in Sunnyvale, CA office.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Direct Marketing team to meet new and existing customer revenue goals by developing and executing direct mail campaigns for the Tiny Prints brands
Write cohesive, organized and logical creative and test briefs for programs and lead discussions in various subject areas
Work with in-house and external Creative teams to develop cutting edge, high quality direct marketing materials; serve as ?best practices? expert to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables
Assist in the development of circulation/mail plans across assigned programs and campaigns including house file segmentation and working with outside vendors on list rentals
Manage day-to-day execution needs across creative, list segmentation, print production and QA to ensure flawless, on-time and on-budget execution
Responsible for clear and concise analyses of program results on segment performance and tests
Provide insights into new segmentations or program opportunities and create actionable plans to integrate these insights into existing strategies
Take accountability to ensure assigned deliverables meet expectations, are on strategy and are delivered on time
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement integrated, on-brand marketing
Work with and manage outside vendors including service bureaus, list rental agencies and printers
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree with 5+ year of Marketing experience (Direct Marketing experience is a plus)
Exceptional organizational, communication/presentation skills and attention to detail
Sharp creative eye and proven ability to develop winning marketing assets
Understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing and/or DM/CRM strategies
Strong analytical skills with proven demonstration of interpretation capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise documents
Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to work cross-functionality, manage expectations and escalate issues as needed
Creative problem solver; passionate about winning and achieving results
Independent self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Fluency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
