THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The role of Associate Marketing Manager is multi-faceted, with a focus on providing marketing support for Rhythm's sales and business development teams. Through the development of sharp marketing materials, great storytelling, compelling research, and managing PR efforts, the AMM is a key business partner to the sales and business development teams. Additionally, the AMM will work on high-level projects for blinkx corporate marketing, supporting the efforts and messaging prioritized by blinkx executive leadership.
Manage daily communication with blinkx?s & Rhythm?s PR agency, helping to shape editorial strategies and draft abstracts for trade articles
Perform proactive and reactive market research for use in sales proposals, editorial POV?s, and large-scale corporate research initiatives
Deliver industry updates to the organization, keeping teams informed on significant technology and business developments publicized by competitors, partners, and trade organizations
Implement tactical corporate communications programs, such as monthly newsletters to internal and external audiences
Create and maintain library of rich media and interactive advertising samples to be used in sales proposals, award submissions, and website updates
Maintain blinkx & Rhythm web properties; updating news items, blog posts, and product information
Oversee social media presence/contributions (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Glass door)
Assist with the fun stuff: events, stylish swag, etc.
Be creative?contribute new ideas to enhance and differentiate marketing initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience
2-3 years experience in marketing and/or sales support roles in digital media, mobile, or web technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bad grammar gives you hives)
Familiarity with enterprise software/services such as Salesforce, comScore, and eMarketer
High proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote and Excel
PR experience a huge plus
