As Associate Media Trader you?ll be responsible for executing existing and new audience buying strategies for our clients on a US and Global level. This role requires an individual that views opportunities through the risk/reward spectrum, adapts quickly to dynamic environments, analyzes vigorously and executes with precision.
Determine strategy pricing and campaign setup through profit/loss analysis and data team input
Collaborate across various teams and offices to ensure maximum ROI
Hourly and Daily observation of profit/loss across campaigns and adjustment to buying strategies hourly/daily. Trading markets operate on a 24/7/365 basis so you will be required to carry positions through the night and weekends thus you would be required to monitor profit/loss throughout these periods and adjust strategy accordingly
Create weekly and monthly reporting for sharing with senior management team
Account development and management with sell-side partners
BS in quantitative discipline such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics
1-3 years of related work experience in the online advertising space, financial markets or other quantitative-focused areas
Entrepreneurial focused with penchant for high-risk/high-reward environments
Experienced understanding of online media pricing: CPM, CPC, CPA and the mechanics that govern each
Knowledge of the different economic models that govern current market participants and the opportunities each of these present
Intermediate to advanced Excel user (there is a test during the interview)
Experience with SQL and the ability to run ad hoc queries
Experience as a day-trader is a plus
