Description:
This position provides support to the manufacturing area utilizing industry standard problem-solving skills and acquired scientific/engineering knowledge to help resolve manufacturing issues that impact product quality and delivery. Key activities include, but are not limited to, conducting testing and experiments to support monitoring of current manufacturing processes, reduction of variation, control/mitigation of process drift, supporting troubleshooting investigations, assisting and implementing manufacturing process improvements, support testing and evaluation of new manufacturing technology, focusing on manufacturing process robustness, reviewing and or revising/creating new documentation for Manufacturing (manufacturing instructions, routings, bills of material, SOPs, etc), supporting and or leading validation of new or improved manufacturing processes and equipment and participating on the integrating new products from R&D into manufacturing.
Requirements:
B.S./B.A. Life/Applied Sciences or equivalent experience and a preferred min. of 6 months related work experience in a GMP environment.
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Good organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to understand, help plan and execute experiments
Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Demonstrates ability to consistently meet proposed objective timelines
Knowledge of related quality system regulations and processes, QSR?s and ISO 9001
Appropriate computer skills (e-mail, word processing, graphing software)
Experience in lateral flow technology preferred.
Basic algebraic, statistical and mathematical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Basic Chemistry or Biochemistry
