2U, Inc.?s Content group is seeking smart, creative and highly organized individuals to act as Associate Producers for Semester Online, a first-of-its-kind program offering rigorous, online undergraduate courses for credit from a consortium of top-tier American colleges and universities. The Associate Producer will join a team charged with planning, building, maintaining and revising a large and growing body of digital academic content. Reporting to the supervising Course Producer, the Associate Producer will assist in all aspects of this effort, including:documenting and maintaining course-production plans;
organizing and managing digital assets;
tracking development of course materials through production and deployment;
reviewing course materials for quality and consistency;
troubleshooting time-sensitive issues as they arise.

The Associate Producer position requires a keen eye and ear for detail and the ability to be effective within a system of many moving parts and to handle a demanding, fast paced environment with grace and good humor. Candidates should have a track record that clearly demonstrates these capabilities. Applicants from any professional domain will be considered, but all those applying should have the following qualifications:
at least 2 years of work experience in a professional media-production setting;
professional or personal experience with both video production and Web content-development;
experience handling and tracking digital assets in a collaborative work environment;
ability to perform basic computer setup and troubleshooting tasks;
excellent communication skills in face-to-face, telephone and email interactions;
comfort working with sometimes-challenging academic subject matter;
proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining a positive outlook and a collegial, professional demeanor.
