SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUMMARY: Manage and develop marketing activities for our Mynx product line and support new product development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:
Support activity for product launch plans and marketing strategy
Manage the product lifecycle including customer value proposition, messaging, positioning, and launch strategy
Develop and execute innovative marketing programs to drive revenue
Manage sales training and national and regional sales meetings
Develop sales training materials and tools for sales force
Coordinate regular sales force communications to support quarterly objectives, using national and regional conference calls and other modalities
Collect and analyze information on competitive product offerings, including features, pricing, and warranty parameters; develop sales collateral and training materials to effectively sell against competition
Support development and production of multi-media collateral in partnership with marketing team
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel on technical matters as a product expert for ACI
Provide regular updates to management regarding project status, as well as other critical issues which affect the attainment of project completion dates
Attend and support company activities at relevant scientific and technical meetings and conferences
Complete accurate and timely marketing documentation
Develop and implement procedures, files, records, and follow-up systems to ensure marketing processes are managed in a well-organized and timely manner
May research, monitor, or prepare semi-routine reports or analyses, summarize findings, and make recommendations, to solve administrative problems
Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred
4+ years related experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical field, including preferred 2+ years in product marketing
Willing to travel 30 to 40%
Ability to work independently, using good judgment, initiative and analytical abilities, to accomplish short and long-range projects, anticipate likely needs, and recommend actions with minimal direction
Ability to influence decision-making and action across the organization, and to influence others independent of reporting structure
Demonstrated ability to quickly ascertain technical aspects of product
Ability to work as a team member and to be very flexible, adaptable, and to work under pressure
Self-motivated and self-directed; conscientious approach to work assignments; enjoys the challenges of multitasking and working at a fast pace while staying flexible to shift tasks frequently
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing work priorities; and ability to maintain good working relationships while dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters and with a wide variety of personal and telephone contacts
Requires above average reading, verbal, and written communications skills; proficiency in business English and grammar; good arithmetic skills and attention to detail to maintain records and process reports
Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work includes potential exposure to human bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.
Work includes potential exposure to radiation sources such as fluoroscope in a catheter laboratory setting.
Work includes potential exposure to chemicals.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
