General Summary:
This role will become the product management go-to contact for a number of our global sales teams to support their product questions and understand if our solution meets a prospect's needs. This person will play an integral role on the product management team, providing feedback on market requirements and becoming a subject matter expert on key market problems with responsibility on how we present solutions. As our products grow and evolve this person will ensure our teams are positioning the products to succeed. This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing.
Quickly respond to inquiries from sales team members with clear answers on product capabilities and confident positioning to provide prospects
Communicate effectively with prospects in the sales process, including supporting sales in demo and opportunity discussions
Provide ongoing tips and training to sales and support teams around product capabilities
Lead technical conversations with internal development team members and customer contacts around software integration capabilities
Identify patterns and trends in product questions and feedback that will support product priorities
Participate in win/loss analysis and customer feedback sessions
Become the subject matter expert on key market issues that impact product capabilities
Some travel to various sales offices will be required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
BA or BS degree in business, technology or related field preferred. MBA a plus
2-5 years in software product management or product marketing related roles
Highly effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced market with a constantly evolving set of requirements
Ability to manage a balance of short terms tasks with ongoing priorities
