POSITION SUMMARY Assist with life-cycle management, marketing and development direction of software
product offerings in the Contact Center and Unified Communications markets. Assist in
the development of business case and management including: hardware/software
feature requirements; training plans; detailed profitability analysis; maintenance &
serviceability plans; and product introduction plans.
Work closely with Senior Product Managers and Development Engineering resources on
the product direction; customers for changes or modifications to products to address
Contact Center and Unified Communications market needs. Conduct regular reviews
with Calabrio management, in areas such as, new product functionality, market
opportunity, partnership possibilities, anticipated P & L and resource / time frame
requirements as directed.
CORE EXPECTATIONS
? Partner with Senior Product Managers with ownership of the product lifecycle from
development to product phase out. Maximum growth and profitability is the goal
and it is determined over the total product life cycle
? Partner in the development of written product strategies, then enlist the core
technology resources to find the technical solutions to support product plans
? Present regular product reviews and enlist management input
? Drive the creation of internal training documentation and class training for new and
existing products
? Develop the sales price list and product introduction
? Set up sales documentation / procedures for product ongoing control (sales,
support, training)
? Be a team player
? Other core expectations will be defined by your direct supervisor/manager

? Quality of analysis in development stages

? Work closely with a senior level engineer or higher
? Work closely with software engineers, group leads and other employees and
departments within the company

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
? B.A or B.S. degree
? 2-5 years experience, in the computer telephony hardware/software field, or high
tech industry
? Preferred work experiences include:
o Product Marketing, Sales Engineering or Development Engineering
o Contact Center or Unified Communications background
o Familiarity with Agile and/or waterfall development practices
o Familiarity with Pragmatic Marketing process preferred
