The Associate Product Manager Role
The Associate Product Manager Role is the training ground for PMs; it?s where super sharp technically oriented professionals with less than 2 years of work experience start at Axial. Associate Product Managers learn by doing: define new features, exhaustively performing functional and user acceptance testing, performing user research, and facilitating feedback from our users.
Associate Product Managers learn fast and work fast and are the resident experts in our application workflows. Associate Product Managers are drawn towards new technology and are on a career path to become skilled product developers and product managers.
Goals of the Role:
Increase the # of defect-free products shipped
Improve functional and acceptance testing processes, and the performance of live products
Reduce Product and Engineering bug-fix and feedback cycles
Responsibilities:
Support all stages of the product development life cycle
Lead end-to-end application testing efforts, and work closely with rest of Product Development and Engineering teams to launch defect-free products
Assist Product Managers in creating thorough and thoughtful user stories, and help to advance product initiatives across the organization
Effectively gather and route feedback from end users and the business teams, and organize on-going Member research
Core Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree with a record of outstanding achievement in rigorous academic settings
0-2 years experience; prior product development exposure a plus
Great teammate, great attitude, you?re always looking to get your hands dirty
Drive and urgency to build great products
Exceptional communicator in all contexts: written, spoken, internal, external
