Associate Product Manager Eventful

Eventful, Inc. is the leading online service for discovering, sharing, promoting and creating local events throughout the world.We are currently looking for an Associate Product Manager to assist with managing Eventful's email and ticketing products. The ideal candidate will also be able to handle the API product and general data quality initiatives as well. You will report to the Sr. Product Manager in charge of these same products. As with any company of Eventful's size, you can expect to wear many hats and need to shift roles and priorities from day to day.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain reports for ticket sales, email performance and other key metrics
Write and maintain product documentation
Generally assist with day-to-day product tasks, solving problems and making the team more effective
Work within an agile environment that tests, analyzes results and iterates at a very fast pace
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs
Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule
Take ownership of problems and solve them
Qualifications:
Ability to bridge the gap and understand the dynamics between marketing programs, customer communication, product and revenue
4-yr college degree or equivalent
Basic understanding of web and email technologies, capabilities and limitations
Advanced understanding of Excel and/or other tools used to build reports and analyze data
You are empathetic and able to communicate effectively across different internal and partner corporate cultures; you can communicate complex concepts and resolve business issues involving multiple parties
You maintain a clear focus on the user through product definition and development; it's in your DNA to act as the advocate for the consumer and quality
You are quantitative and detail oriented utilizing web analytics and research to identify trends, assess competitors and identify opportunities for enhancement
