Associate Product Manager - Software Seahorse Bioscience

Our expanding marketing team is seeking an associate product manager with life science instrument software expertise to maintain our worldwide sales growth.
As Associate Product Manager for Software, you will be responsible for managing the assay design, data acquisition and analysis software for the XF and XFe Analyzers, the XF Prep Station, and associated product line extensions. You will understand rapidly evolving customer needs and represent the VOC voiced of the customer in marketing programs and for product development and improvements projects to meet those needs. You will be responsible for providing product training to field staff and distributors, monitoring the market, and implementing marketing programs to support product line growth worldwide.
Understand the expectations, needs, and wants of XF customers for assay design, data acquisition and analysis software with the XF platform, including the relative importance of features and benefits, user experience, and ways to increase customer satisfaction
Provide sales, customer support, and distributor partners the software platform expertise necessary to sell & support XF platform software
Develop value-based product positioning, pricing, and support programs
Visit customers and potential customers to maintain up-to-date VOC
Monitor and benchmark industry standards
Monitor software questions, bug/defect reports, and enhancement requests
Partner with software team on software projects; deliver marketing & product requirements supported by VOC research
Oversee production of technical, instructional and marketing documentation for software
Represent company at meetings, conferences and trade shows
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 35% travel may be required.
BA or BS in a life science; Master?s, MBA or Ph.D. is a plus
Minimum of 1 years in marketing of Life Science instruments or comparable direct customer interactions; sales experience a plus
Minimum 2 years? experience with software-run analytical instruments
Solid knowledge of cell analysis; ability to understand and discuss cell-based research
Experience working within agile software development environment a plus
Customer-oriented perspective; must relish communicating with customers and field staff
Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects
