ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, the Associate Product Marketing Manager is responsible for helping to develop and execute all outbound product marketing activities for iGoDigital, an ExactTarget Company. These activities include product positioning, internal and external launch plans and sales enablement. The successful candidate will work closely with the product management teams, the direct selling force and the marketing communications team to accurately position ExactTarget solutions in the marketplace and assist our sales team in accelerating the sales cycle.
This position is based at the iGoDigital offices at 82nd and Allisonville Rd.
?Collaborate with the product team to understand key value propositions and positioning differentiators for iGoDigital solutions.
?Serve as the subject matter expert for all customer-facing documentation including product sell sheets, website copy and white papers. Work with the Marketing/Communications department to initiate the development of these tools.
?Develop detailed launch plans to support the internal and external roll out of new solutions and features.
?Work closely with the iGoDigital Director of Sales to produce sales tools for a variety of sales channels. Sales tools can include sales guides, PowerPoint presentations, speaker notes, positioning briefs, Flash demos and other tools deemed necessary.
?Be a customer advocate and guide product direction based on customer needs and competitive positioning.
?Conduct segmentation analysis of iGoDigital?s customer base to identify key segments and opportunities for differentiation and positioning.
Requirements?BA/BS degree in Marketing or Communications
?3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a product-centric role
?Demonstrated aptitude for strategy and positioning
?Excellent written and oral communication skills
?Must be a self-starter that is comfortable working in a start-up paced software company
