Associate QA Engineer Verticals onDemand, Inc.

Veeva Systems is looking for a QA Engineer that likes to figure out how things work and make sure they are working correctly. This is an entry level, hands-on position for delivering a quality SaaS product. You should want to be part of fast-paced team who takes pride in building great software and making customers happy.

To qualify, you need:

A great attitude and ability to learn quickly
Knowledge of QA practices and ability to apply them in context of agile software development
Ability to set application configurations and create test data sets.

Responsibilities:

Work with software engineers and QA testers in a team environment using agile methods
Work with product managers and developers to identify test cases from requirements/design
Document test cases within a test case management application
Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules/timelines
Clearly document and explain defects found in defect tracking system

Requirements:

Qualified candidates should have completed a 4 year college degree. Preferred are educational backgrounds in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Science (CS), or Mathematics.
Must be able to work in a team setting and collaborate with others.
Must have good attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

Qualified candidates should have understanding for agile Quality Assurance best practices and should be knowledgeable about computer applications/systems/tools commonly used in QA aspects of a SaaS offering.
QA internship or some full time QA experience is a plus. This is entry level position and those with extended experience should not apply.
Experience with mobile applications on laptop, iPad, Android and/or Blackberry a plus.
Knowledge of Salesforce.com and/or Force.com a plus.
