Job Profile
Responsibilities:
· (50%) Test Case Design, Planning and Development
o Works with project teams and learns to ensure the quality of assigned applications.
o Works with a content expert to execute test plans and to create test case(s) for complex projects.
o Creates manual test or automated test cases based on design and requirements.
o Documents test scripts in a common repository.
o Participates in code reviews for test scripts within the test group
· (50%) Test Execution and Reporting
o Executes manual and automated test cases and scripts and analyze the output to ensure functionality regression and new feature of the products during a release cycle.
o Enters product failure issues into the problem tracking system.
o Helps maintain the proper test environments, to include the installation of products under test and complimentary products.
o Learns and uses automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated functional testing.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): test planning, designing, defect failure analysis, Good command of English Language, MS SQL Server, MsSQL, Oracle,
- Knowledge of automated testing tools (QTP, RFT, Ranorex) is a plus
- Knowledge in reporting tools like crystal report and cognos, etc.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
