Description
The Associate Recruiter will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Recruiter with all recruiting functions including screening, interviewing, testing, and referring candidates for clerical, technical, sales, administrative and management positions throughout the Company.
The ideal candidate should be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even-tempered, and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, flexibility, and maturity.
Responsibilities
The Associate Recruiter is responsible for assisting with all phases of the recruitment cycle from sourcing through hire. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with the interview scheduling process where necessary including gathering the candidate/hiring managers? availability and confirming the interview date, time and location.
Conduct appropriate background check, reference checks and employment verifications.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters and interactions.
Post positions to various job boards and social networking sites.
Complete all administrative recruiting functions including: data entry, resume scanning and entry into systems, filing, faxing, respond to emails, etc.
Assist with identifying and qualifying candidates for open positions.
Create and prepare New Hire Paperwork packets.
Ensure that applicant records and statistics are properly maintained in Applicant Tracking System and all phases of the employment process are updated.
Build a strong pipeline of potential candidates through use of Internet search, job boards, college recruitment, and nationwide network of employment agencies and/or recruiters.
Update/maintain open requisitions, status, headcount and related reports.
Represent company at job fairs and participate in college recruitment programs.
Develop and maintain up to date job descriptions for all positions.
Maintain filing system of all communication including offer letters, contracts, personnel files, etc.
Provide administrative support to department as needed.
Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
1 -2 years experience in human resources/recruiting.
Bachelors degree required. Additional experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
The ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change is required.
Proven success meeting hiring deadlines in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Taleo).
