We are currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and relentlessly resourceful individual to join our Biology group. This successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of experiments including biochemical and cell-based assays to support our active drug discovery programs. Applicants should have a solid theoretical and experimental background in molecular biology, meticulous bench-work and record-keeping skills, and specific experience in cellular and standard molecular biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, ELISA, western blot analysis and real-time qPCR. Experience in experimental design, assay development and validation, troubleshooting, data interpretation and statistical analysis is required. The candidate will be expected to maintain familiarity with current scientific literature and contribute to the investigation, creation, and development of new methods and technologies for project advancement.
The candidate must be highly motivated, demonstrate productivity in a dynamic and collaborative environment, be able to communicate scientific information effectively, and be open to learning new skills. The ability to function in an interdisciplinary team and fast paced environment are required.
Candidates must possess a BS or MS degree in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry or related field. Previous industry (3-5 years) and/or assay development experience is required.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical assays and protocols.
Proficiency in cell-based, biochemical, and enzymatic assays, immunohistochemistry, and cell culture techniques.
