Description: Quanterix is an exciting early stage company whose mission is to develop a gamechanging platform that combines proprietary singlemolecule sensitivity, multiplexing, and full automation. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Scientist to join our Assay Development Group. If you have experience developing assays in the in vitro diagnostics industry, this could be a very exciting position for you.
Responsibilities will broadly include using Quanterixs proprietary technology to develop and validate new IVD assays with an objective of meeting regulatory requirements for commercialization. You will apply your laboratory skills and experience in all phases of IVD product development; concept, feasibility, design and development, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer and commercialization.
Requirements: B.S or M.S in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Science. At least 3 years of experience in commercial IVD assay development including: reagent development and optimization, assay protocol optimization, migration of manual assays to automated instrumentation, verification and validation protocol writing and execution, conformance with IVD design control regulations. Experience with infectious disease assay development and/or multiplexing big plus.
You must have excellent organizational, record keeping and communication skills. A strong work ethic to generate high quality data under tight deadlines, collaborative and proactive attitude a must.
