As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work with business partners to resolve Tier 1 escalations (internally developed application support) for our database analysis functions (developing Oracle and MS SQL Server scripts and packages), light C# development, escalation workflow management, communications routing and Event Management functions within the IT Operations department. Target start date for this role is Spring or Fall 2013.

Here?s a summary of skills you?ll need for this position:
? Recently completed or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or other technical degree with experience using the .NET or Java platforms
? Experience with the following C# or Java constructs: classes, methods, Namespaces, Assemblies, inheritance, and delegates
? Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting skills in an environment of computers on the Microsoft Windows and UNIX/LINUX operating system platforms
? Some Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL experience is highly desired
? Microsoft Office platform including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Must be adaptable and flexible
? Must learn quickly and take initiative
