Associate Software Engineer - Java Verticals onDemand, Inc.

Veeva Systems is seeking a Software Engineer who is a strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced and fluid entrepreneurial environment. An ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter who loves technical challenges and wants to learn from some great engineers. This is an exciting role where the software engineer will have the opportunity to work with technologies like Java, Spring Roo, Hibernate, MySql, Memcached, Solr, Lucene and many more.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of software cycle: design, implementation, tuning, testing and monitoring of the functional areas that you will own
Accountable for delivery of projects within schedules and timelines
Contribute to technical design decisions for the product
Contribute to troubleshooting and technical support of the product

Requirements:

Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OO design and software design)
Capable of technical deep-dives into code
Built projects/applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL
Experience in development of Web based applications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering / Science (Computer Science preferred)

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of SaaS applications
